A Team of Carers'/Personal Assistants required to support a 31 year old man who has a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy, uses a communication aid and uses a wheelchair to move around both inside and outside the home.

The client lives with his family in Runcorn and he has a very active social life, attending university and work.
The client requires support with all aspects of his care, including:
• Showering/personal hygiene care
• Feeding/Drinking
• Dressing/getting up and getting ready for bed
• Support when out/about in the community, attending work, attending university
• Chaperone on holidays
• Able to provide cover for sickness/holidays as required
The shifts will be in blocks of 8 and 6 hours per day as follows:
Monday - Sunday 8am-4pm (8 hour shifts)
Monday - Sunday 6pm-12am (6 hour shifts)
Plus additional 1 hour Double up (2:1) calls 4 times per day Mon/Tue/Fri/Sat/Sun
Plus additional 1 hour Double up (2:1) calls 2 times per day Wed/Thur

Experience is preferred but not essential.
A diploma in Health and Social Care Level 2 is also desirable
A transferrable enhanced DBS check is desirable to allow for employment to commence as soon as possible but not essential as one will be provided.
This role is only suitable for applicants already based in the North West UK, who are able to travel to/from the role - it does not include remote working, relocation fees, agency employment or visa sponsorship.
