Permanent Fees Clerk Job in the Legal Sector. Our client, a prestigious barristers chambers based near Chancery Lane is seeking a Fees Clerk to join their expanding finance team. This position will provide administration, billing and credit control support to the Senior Fees Clerks. As a Fees Clerk your core duties will include: Providing billing support and issuing invoices & fee notes in a timely manner Credit Control - liaising with instructing solicitors for outstanding fees owed to Counsel Aged debt reporting, and informing the Senior Fees Clerks on any problematic accounts Entering cheques and BACS payments in the LEX diary management system Sending fees received correspondence Managing the Fees email inbox and resolving queries General administration and completing ad hoc tasks To be considered for this position you will be: A meticulous individual who can manage multiple responsibilities efficiently Experienced in the above duties and be proficient using LEX A calm and patient individual with a flexible attitude Benefits offered to the Fees Clerk: Hybrid work pattern 25 days holiday Discretionary bonus Collaborative and supportive team environment
