Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Steam Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for a Steam Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
As the Steam Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
Responsibilities:
1. Service, maintenance, and repairs on installations such as ventilation systems (AHU, Intake / extract).
2. Heating and cooling systems (thermal wheels, FCU's etc.).
3. Water system assets, such as booster sets, chlorifiers, water heaters.
4. Deliver to the highest level of service for the client.
5. Answer queries, report any defects, and keep clients informed of site activities during service visits.
6. Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
7. Keep logs of inspection reports and remedial work.
8. Work at heights and in confined spaces.
9. Participate in the On-Call Rota.
10. Use a mobile device and demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Experience within a Maintenance/Facilities Management environment.
2. BOAS accreditation.
3. City & Guilds Level 3 or Level 5 NVQ or HNC equivalent.
4. Knowledge of Health & Safety.
5. Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of working.
6. A full UK driving license is required.
