Job summary Our Occupational Therapy Service has recently been redesigned with the aim of creating a more resilient workforce, equipped to manage the complex needs of our patient's, and also allow experienced therapists an opportunity to develop their specialist interest and contribute to service developments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Occupational Therapy ; excellent communication skills, enthusiasm with the ability to work autonomously and as a part of the wider MDT. You will be responsible for providing a high standard of assessment, advice, treatment and evaluation of patients referred to the acute inpatient Occupational Therapy Service, including patients with varying presentations and complex physical and psychosocial conditions. Rotations may become possible within the band 6 peer group according to the evolving nature of the integrated pathways across our acute teams. A flexible and adaptable approach will be necessary to ensure delivery of an excellent OT service across all pathways.
