Senior Electronic Engineer – 4 days week
Senior Electronic Engineers to join an award-winning Hertfordshire based success story developing high value, low volume products for scientific research and other markets. The products make use of high tech cameras and sensor technology, so any knowledge in this field would be a plus.
They work a 34 hour week over 4 days, mostly in office with some opportunities to work from home. They provide medical cover that extends to immediate family, life assurance and pension.
This position would suit an Electronic Design Engineer with a knack for innovation. You will lead the design and development of cutting-edge electronic hardware and systems, taking them from concept to manufacturing.
It's a varied role with elements of digital design, analogue, FPGA, high voltage power and systems level specification.
Senior Electronics Engineer essential skills:
* Digital electronic design, including FPGA (Xilinx preferred)
* Proficiency in analog electronic design
* PCB layout, preferably using Altium
* Solid knowledge of design for EMC – to keep electromagnetic chaos at bay.
Other useful skills:
* Basic knowledge of Optics – you can see the light!
* Understanding of high voltage circuits – you're electrifying!
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision – you're a self-starter.
* Proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings – you understand the nuts and bolts.
