Description Job Title : Casual Venue Operations Coordinator Department : Venue Operations (Stadium) Reports to : Venue Operations Manager Rate of Pay : Hourly Rate (£15.59 12.07% holiday pay) Job Level : Core Location : Twickenham Stadium Duration : Zero Hours Contract Nature and scope: The role of the uniformed Venue Operations Coordinator (Casual) is to support the effective provision of security for the RFU, Twickenham Stadium, Venue, and its environs. Based at the Stadium complex and in support of the teams that operate on a scheduled Rota covering 24 hours,7 days a week, 365 days a year period. This role requires the individual to respond to all requests for security services and first aid (if trained to do so), operate all life support and security systems (if trained to do so), maintain accurate logs and reports, follow processes and procedures, and generally assure the safety and welfare of all staff and visitors across the Venue The Venue has a spectator capacity of 82,000 and the complex includes a 156-bedroom Marriott Hotel, a Virgin Active leisure club, conference and banqueting facilities, a performing arts centre, a rugby store and office accommodation, making the Stadium a 365 day a year business. Accountabilities: Every member of the Venue Operations team is entrusted to perform their duties within the ethos of the RFU values, incorporating teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline, and sportsmanship. Role specific tasks will include. Providing first class customer service Welcoming and assisting visitors, contractors, and staff Controlling and recording vehicular and pedestrian entry and exit Conducting site patrols as directed Maintaining the secure integrity of the venue Issue and return of keys and monitor their use and return Monitoring of the CCTV system, reacting to alarms Responding to incidents and emergencies Conduct initial investigations and present findings Report writing Provide security operations to corporate events Reacting to and reporting on Health & Safety and or facility maintenance issues Produce Staff and visitor passes and managing their use. Actively collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development and delivery of the current strategic, business, and operational plans Act as an ambassador for, and promote the best interests of the RFU, including the promotion of the RFU core values and BACK culture. Qualifications, skills & experience: Essential: SIA door supervisor Security experience in a customer facing environment. Experience working in a control room and able to operate, CCTV, access control and fire prevention/alarm systems Passionate about delivering a great customer experience to internal and external stakeholders Effective communication at a variety of levels Effective written and notetaking skills Team player Self-motivated, reliable, and conscientious Calm under pressure Ability to follow and implement guidelines and procedures Personal integrity and disciplined professional standards Desired: First aid at work qualified IOSH Managing Safely Qualification SIA Public Surveillance (CCTV) license Hold a level 2 award in stewarding or crowd safety qualification Competent IT skills with a sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite Full UK driving license Additional Information: The Venue Operations Coordinator role within the Venue Operations team demands high standards and professional integrity in every duty performed.
