Department The Department of Computer Science is a vibrant community of 96 academic staff, 49 professional services and 42 research associates delivering an excellent education to 800 undergraduates, 220 taught postgraduates, over 1500 online taught postgraduates and 170 postgraduate researchers. Role The Computer Science Department (Faculty of Sciences) seeks to appoint a Student & Academic Administrator to work as part of the Student Engagement Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a service and proactive oriented person who seeks to develop themselves within a world-leading academic Department. The post will support administration in the department across undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes across the student lifecycle. The role will involve extensive contact and communications with students, applicants and potential applicants. The post will also work with a range of staff (Department and across the University) together with visitors. The focus of the post will include recruitment, admissions, outreach, alumni relations, student and applicant communication and engagement. This is a fixed term post for a period of 6 months. Skills, Experience & Qualification needed Level 2 qualification including Maths and English. (Qualifications at this level include five GCSEs at grade A-C/ grade 4-9. Please view the full list ).
