We are searching for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person, with a love for child development, to join our friendly team of passionate and committed Pre-School professionals. You must be confident to work with children and be ambitious to meet their individual needs. You will contribute to helping us provide a safe, high-quality environment, where young children play, thrive and learn in a stimulating and happy setting. You will be expected to attend and participate in staff meetings and extend your knowledge of early years education through study and training.
This role will commence in February 2025, this role is room based as well as classroom based for small group and intervention workshop. We believe in supporting our staff throughout their Early Years Educator Career and we will continue to teach you how to provide outstanding care and education to young children.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
• Previous experience working in a childcare setting as an Early Years Educator or similar role is essential.
• Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a classroom of young children
• Ability to drive educational outcomes through creative teaching methods
• Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents and colleagues effectively
• Minimum of Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
• Your main responsibilities will be to
• Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Observe and assess children's development, identifying any areas of concern
• Collaborate with parents and other staff members to support children's individual needs.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
• Ensure the Pre-School is clean, organised, and well-maintained at all times.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children
Salary: Dependent on qualifications and experience, Pension Scheme (if eligible), EAP, Onsite Parking
Reporting to: Pre-School Manager.
When: 32 hours per week (Term time only)
