About The Role
A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Production team as a Production Apprentice.
This role is ideal for someone who has completed school and is looking for a new challenge or for a candidate with previous relevant experience, or looking at taking their first steps into a Production role.
The position will be fixed term for the duration of the apprenticeship, up to a maximum of 2 years, with the opportunity for this to be made permanent.
Working hours will be 12.30pm - 8.30pm Monday to Thursday and 11.30am - 6pm Friday.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. You will be required to work within a small team to conduct product checks throughout the shift.
2. Prepare and weigh ingredients required for mixing.
3. Follow recipes to produce a finished dough to the desired consistency.
4. Evaluate product quality ensuring they meet appropriate quality specifications.
5. Follow a "clean as you go" system to maintain the work area, being flexible to clean after recipe changes and deep cleans at the end of shift.
Experience
1. Good physical strength and eye-hand coordination.
2. Strong written, numerical, and communication skills.
3. Good team player.
4. Take reasonable care of your own and other people's health and safety.
