As the Legal Secretary, our client is looking for a confident communicator with exposure to reporting to a range of internal stakeholders offering support. You'll partner with some of the South West's best lawyers, ensuring the customer journey is smooth and reliable.

Experience of work within a conveyancing department is desirable, and experience with legal forms and the conveyancing process is preferable.

What does the package look like:
Salary ranging from £28,000 - £34,000 DOE
On-site parking facilities or parking permit offered
25 days holiday entitlement plus Christmas shutdown & bank holidays
Monday - Friday 09:00am - 17:30pm

This Legal Secretary will hold the below responsibilities:
1. Transcription of data preparing correspondence and documents as directed, using audio typing and copy work.
2. Typing and amending legal documentation.
3. Providing general administrative support to colleagues as directed.
4. Liaising with clients, solicitors, and other professionals via telephone and email.
5. Diary and file management supporting the firm's administrative demands.
6. Proficiently making appointments, arranging meetings, and liaising between lawyers, clients, and others.
7. Handling information in a manner that is consistent with data protection laws.
The ideal candidate for this Legal Secretary will hold the exposure and skillsets below:
1. Experience with legal forms and the conveyancing process.
2. Fast, accurate typing with strong IT skills.
3. Good timekeeping and time management.
4. Secretarial skills, including accurate audio typing.
5. Highly organised and able to cope under pressure with meticulous and accurate attention to detail.
6. Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with clients as well as a wide range of other people over the telephone and in person.
7. Willingness to learn, with aptitude for a gradual increase in responsibilities.
8. Ability to prepare legal documents.
9. Excellent customer service skills while maintaining a high confidentiality approach.
