Job Description: They are seeking a dedicated and driven individual with experience in precision machining to join their team as a Sales and Business Development Lead. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the company's growth by maintaining excellent customer relationships, driving sales, and ensuring operational capacity is utilized efficiently with profitable work. Your strategic input will help shape both short-term actions and long-term business goals. Key Responsibilities: Generate sales with both current and potential customers, aiming to fill machine capacity with profitable work. Develop and deliver sales forecasts (monthly, quarterly, yearly) and report on set KPIs. Handle all aspects of customer relationship management, including quotes, inquiries, and expectations. Maintain accurate customer contact details in the ERP/MRP system. Act as the main point of contact for sales inquiries within the business. Lead sales meetings, document action points, and follow up accordingly. Maximize sales opportunities and ROI on all sales activities, presenting the company both online and in person. Report and provide solutions for factors impacting business performance. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and quality guidelines, promoting a right-first-time approach. Engage in business development activities to ensure the company remains competitive in new and existing markets. Essential Requirements: Background in precision machining essential Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems. Experience in contract negotiations and sales techniques. Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Proven experience in handling confidential and commercially sensitive information. High level of attention to detail with data input and reporting. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for dealing with customers and internal stakeholders.
