This role involves covering a 6-month secondment with an ASAP start, requiring approximately one day per month onsite. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to support the team in managing tasks associated with tracking international regulatory developments, preparing briefings, and supporting cross-departmental collaboration. The position will require an individual who is proactive, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently, contributing to the team's overall success as we address significant challenges in the aviation industry. You will: Support for Research and Analysis: Assist in gathering, tracking, and organizing information on international regulatory developments from relevant authorities and standards organizations. Maintain and update internal databases, reports, and documentation related to regulatory changes and international legislation. Support the team by managing schedules and deadlines for regulatory research projects, ensuring timely delivery.Development and Coordination of Briefings: Help in the preparation and formatting of concise, clear briefings to inform internal stakeholders about regulatory developments and trends. Coordinate the review and distribution of briefings to relevant teams across NATS, ensuring all communication is accurate and up-to-date.Cross-functional Team Support: Organize meetings, workshops, and other engagement activities with teams across NATS to facilitate collaborative work on regulatory positions. Coordinate feedback from various internal teams, ensuring that all viewpoints are considered in the development of NATS' positions for international engagement. Assist in the creation and maintenance of templates, checklists, and other resources to support cross-team collaboration.Support for Digital Tools and Processes: Assist in maintaining and improving digital tools used by the International Affairs team for regulatory analysis, communication, and reporting purposes. Help in identifying and testing new tools that can enhance the team's efficiency and effectiveness. Manage and organize shared digital documents and files to ensure easy access and clear organization of information.Business Improvement Activities: Act as a key support member in the team's continuous business improvement activities, assisting with documentation, tracking progress, and maintaining a record of improvements. Support the development and implementation of process enhancements to improve the overall delivery capacity of the team. What we are looking for in you: Proven experience in providing administrative support within a regulatory or policy-focused environment, ideally within the aviation industry, but not limited to it. Ability to prioritize tasks and coordinate multiple activities across different teams, ensuring deadlines are met in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail when processing information, preparing documents, and supporting regulatory research. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear reports and correspondence. Experience preparing documents for senior stakeholders is a plus. Additional Desirable Skills: Experience with regulatory processes within the aviation or air traffic management industry.
