Join our European Loan Sales team at J.P. Morgan, an integral part of our Leveraged Finance Sales organization. You'll work closely with our Trading, Desk Analyst, Research and Syndicate partners, managing relationships with a diverse client base including asset managers, hedge funds, CLO managers and credit funds. As an Associate, you'll focus on European credit across performing and distressed loans, using your sales skills to distinguish our business in the competitive market. As an Associate in our European Loan Sales team, you will focus on European credit across performing and distressed loans, covering CLO Managers, Credit Funds, and Hedge Funds. You will leverage your expertise to deliver the broader Leveraged Finance platform, distinguishing our business from the competition. Based in our London office, you will also cover UK and US institutional investors. You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with our Trading, Desk Analyst, Research, Syndicate, CLO Structuring and Financing partners to deliver outstanding service to our clients. Job Responsibilities: Cover CLO Managers, Credit Funds and Hedge Funds as well as dedicated Loan Manager platforms focusing on European credit, with a unique exposure across performing and distressed loans Collaborate closely with our Trading, Desk Analyst, Research, Syndicate, CLO Structuring and Financing partners to deliver the firm to our client base Market and distribute new issue European Loans to our investor base Operate closely with the broader London- and Paris-based Loan Sales team and back up accounts where needed Work with our clients to secure CLO mandates, financing mandates and other Leveraged Finance related business streams Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: At least a couple years of experience in sales, with exposure ideally to CLO Managers, Credit Funds, Hedge Funds and Leveraged Finance investors Robust understanding of the Leveraged Finance ecosystem, including corporate finance principles and capital structures Team-focused, multi-tasker who adapts to a quickly-changing environment with a strong desire to understand broader Credit Markets Detail-oriented with the ability to grasp new concepts and proactively deliver them to clients Fundamental eagerness to engage with people by establishing and cultivating interpersonal relationships Strong communication skills both with external and internal key stakeholders Fluent in English Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: Experience / knowledge of macroeconomics and corporate finance Proficiency in a second language a plus Strong numerical and problem-solving skills Proven track record of client relationship management Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a willingness to take initiatives This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity.
