mhs homes is a high-performing, community focused housing provider delivering safe, secure and affordable homes as a stepping stone to a better future. We believe everyone needs a decent home. The mhs homes group has been created to provide affordable homes to the people who need them most and we are passionate about investing in our communities.
As part of our board succession in 2025, we are looking to recruit a new Chair for our Treasury Committee. The role will provide strategic oversight and evaluation of our long-term financial plans and investment opportunities. The chair of the treasury committee also sits on the group board. We are ideally looking for someone with at least one of the following: senior finance or treasury management experience, an understanding of strategic financial planning and the raising of both bank and capital market funding, and an understanding of appropriate methods for mitigating financial risks.
Across the mhs group, we are committed to achieving the ultimate ambition of our strategic plan - to help end the housing crisis in north Kent. These roles are an opportunity to join a unique and ambitious organisation, with a highly committed board and colleague group. We are committed to retaining a diverse board, reflective of the communities we serve, comprised of people who bring a broad mix of different skills and perspectives.
