Job Description The Assistant Bar Manager will be supporting the Bar Manager in overseeing the bar program by creating and maintaining bar standards while driving sales through creative and innovative drinks, building relationships with suppliers and vendors in the absence of the Bar Manager. In addition, the Assistant Bar Manager will support the Bar Manager and being accountable for the day to day operations of the bar including team, cost controls, training, budgeting, administration and active floor management during service. Job Type: Full Time Salary: up to £45,000 Responsibilities: You are passionate and articulate about food and beverage Manage the overall bar and beverage offer for the restaurant including cocktails, beers, garnishing and non-alcoholic beverages Create and maintain service and operational standards for the bar, making use of best practices and efficiencies where possible Lead the creation and maintenance of cocktail lists including new and innovative products and combinations while keeping in mind costing. Build and maintain relationships with guests, team members and client. Demonstrate a professional and courteous attitude throughout service and shifts, acting as a ambassador for the brand. Strive for maximum efficiency and continual improvement of staff productivity Additional duties as assigned or required
