Derby College Group (DCG) are recruiting for an experienced Teacher of Maths to join the Adult Maths teaching team on a part-time basis across multiple Derby College sites. You'll successfully deliver Functional Maths to our adult learners and be responsible for program planning and delivery.

The Opportunity
As part of this opportunity, you'll provide a responsive delivery of various maths programmes, primarily Functional Maths to adult learners both on campus and in the community. You'll be required to set and mark assignments and keep learner portfolios and our administrative system up to date. The current requirement is to work over 2 days (Mondays 14:30-20:00, Thursdays 12:00-20:00). The timetable is reviewed annually, the ability to work in the evening is essential.

About You
You'll have experience in successfully delivering Functional Maths, ideally to adult learners. Excellent administration and interpersonal skills, together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team, are essential in this role. You'll possess a teaching qualification and have achieved a Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English and at least a Level 3 or equivalent in Maths.
Applicants should be flexible and have their own transport to commute to community locations as required.
