Volunteer Recruitment Support Officer - North West of England & West Midlands
Our charity shops are more than just a store - they're a place where you can find unique items, embrace sustainable fashion and homeware, donate your pre-loved items, or volunteer, all whilst supporting our work with children, young people and families.
Volunteers are essential to what we do at Barnardo's. Each year around 17,000 people give 1.8 million hours of their time to support Barnardo's to improve the lives of children, young people and families. The vital work we do wouldn't be possible without the dedication, experience, and passion of volunteers across the charity. For this reason, Barnardo's have embarked on a large national campaign to recruit more volunteers to help our charity shops across the UK thrive.
This post is vital to the success of the campaign. Forming part of the Retail Operations team, the successful candidate will contribute to the professional and timely recruitment of volunteers.
The Volunteer Recruitment Support Officer will provide comprehensive, proactive, and professional volunteer recruitment support services to the Retail Operations team; contributing to the achievement of the Retail & Trading Strategic aims and the Barnardo's Volunteering Strategy.
