As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and effective services across our Learning Disability services in Scotland.
You will play a pivotal role in leading continuous improvement, monitoring compliance with regulatory standards, and ensuring that we meet the needs of the people we support.
Key Responsibilities of Quality Manager
1. Lead and implement quality assurance processes, ensuring services meet and exceed regulatory standards. Identify areas for improvement and implement change to enhance service quality and outcomes for individuals with learning disabilities.
2. Oversee the auditing and monitoring of services to ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and industry best practices. Conduct regular audits and reviews, ensuring corrective actions are taken as needed.
3. Develop and implement training programs that support the development of staff in line with quality standards. Ensure staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills to deliver safe, effective, and person-centered care.
4. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, local authorities, and families. Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters.
5. Analyze performance data and use insights to drive improvements. Produce detailed reports on service quality, performance, and compliance for senior management and stakeholders.
6. Lead and support service managers and teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. Provide guidance and support to ensure teams meet the charity's vision and values.
Key Requirements
1. Have obtained a level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care, or equivalent.
2. Highly experienced within the care and support for adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health.
3. Be comfortable managing a team of managers, ensuring accountability and high standards at all times.
4. Have significant experience managing relationships with professionals associated with the care sector.
5. Have sound judgement in difficult and complex situations.
6. Encourage a positive and supportive culture.
