Position: Registered Manager

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead the daily operations of our new residential home in Birmingham. In this role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and supportive care, while maintaining full compliance with regulatory standards. You will provide strong leadership and support to your team, with regular ongoing development provided by our Responsible Individual. We welcome applications from Deputy Managers ready to step into this role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Safeguarding & Governance: Oversee safeguarding practices and manage risks, ensuring robust service governance for the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
2. Holistic Care: Ensure comprehensive access to health, education, social, psychological, and emotional support services for children in your care.
3. Outcome Monitoring: Track and evaluate outcomes and progress in line with individual care plans.
4. Supervision & Standards: Lead staff supervision, uphold high standards, and support the development of best practices.
5. Care Plan Review: Regularly review and update care and service plans to ensure effective delivery.
6. Collaboration: Partner with commissioners, local authorities, and health practitioners to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Leadership Diploma: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or a commitment to achieving this).
2. Childcare Diploma: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification).
3. Residential Experience: At least 3 years in children’s residential care settings.
4. Management Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role within children’s residential care.
Remuneration & Benefits:
1. Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
