Your role and responsibilities you'll manage a team of 20 delivering walking and cycling activities to benefit individuals across Ipswich and Lowestoft as part of a Department for Transport (DfT) funded pilot project using your financial planning and budget management skills to ensure successful delivery of the project through to end of October 2026 your knowledge of the COM-B Behaviour Change model will inform your delivery of the project interventions enable project participants to incorporate active travel into their lives for both personal health and climate change benefits. You will need sound financial management experience experience of enabling behaviour change within individuals, some of whom may be vulnerable the ability to cycle safely following the national standard model – a ride leader qualification would be an advantage experience of managing a team working different shifts in multiple location knowledge of how active travel can contribute to an individual’s well-being and support the move to net zero knowledge of the planning process and how travel plans play a role in creating higher levels of sustainable travel would be desirable You can view a full list of requirements in the Job and Person Profile (docx).
