You will provide global statistical support in all aspects of evidence generation strategies to support pipe line deliveries. Key Responsibilities: The responsibilities listed below outline the scope of the position. The application of these tasks may vary, based upon evolving business needs. Be a specialist in oncology indications in Oncology Statistics DU III (focus on women’s cancers), partner with disease strategy leads in the Oncology clinical development organization to drive the alignment in asset development across DUs Support the DU head, collaborate other disease area strategy leads and project statisticians to identify the opportunities and implement data strategies (e.g. external data), state-of-art methodologies in statistics and Data Sciences in plan, design and analysis of clinical development Build knowledge (e.g. registration requirement, competitors’ information, reimbursement etc.) and tool (statistical and data science) base for the focused indications Represents GSK-Oncology Biostatistics at scientific meetings and presentations Contribute to and influence the strategic direction of the asset development and regulatory submission via rigorous and robust statistical knowledge Building and maintaining effective strategic working relationships with internal and external partners to meet business needs. Can serve as a project statistician for an asset. Basic Qualifications PhD (preferred) or MSc in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related quantitative discipline Experience supporting Oncology Clinical development Proven track record of entrepreneurship and business impact through fit-for-purpose Data and Statistical solutions Proficiency in R and SAS Leadership experience in project planning and solution delivery Strong stakeholder management in a matrix organization and excellent communication skills Experience successfully influencing effectively across functions and levels of an organization. Preferred Qualifications PhD Degree in Statistics related disciplines Thorough knowledge of the drug development process Demonstrated ability to lead or make major contributions to department, organizational and/or industry-wide initiatives, through effective communication and influence. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Capability in building and maintaining strong working relationships in a team setting. Ability to solve complex problems analytically and programmatically Experience in implementation of causal inference methodologies Familiarity with AI/ML methods LI-GSK Why GSK?
