Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers to support the learning and development of primary school children. You will assist with the delivery of lessons, help children with their individual learning needs, and contribute to maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: Support the classroom teacher with day-to-day classroom activities and lesson delivery. Assist students with learning activities on a one-to-one or small group basis. Help children with special educational needs (SEN), providing tailored support. Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment to help students succeed. Supervise students during lessons, breaks, and other activities. Assist in preparing learning materials and classroom resources. Provide feedback to the teacher on student progress and behavior. Help with classroom management and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment. Requirements: Experience working with children, ideally in a classroom setting (preferred). A passion for education and helping children achieve their potential. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work as part of a team and independently. Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this if required). Patience, enthusiasm, and a proactive attitude. Flexible and adaptable to different classroom environments and age groups.
