About the Role:
Working as a Maintenance Manager to join a team, you would play a key role in maintaining the efficiency of the company’s operations
Key responsibilities:
* Operations Monitoring: Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly checks to ensure smooth site operations, while delegating maintenance tasks and small projects across shifts for efficient issue resolution. Develop and manage a preventative maintenance schedule, ensuring tasks are completed as planned. Set clear departmental objectives and KPIs, regularly reviewing performance and driving continuous improvement.
* Documentation & Compliance: Audit engineering data systems to ensure compliance and accuracy. Review and update key company records, including training, performance reviews, and risk assessments.
* Scheduling Works: Coordinate internal and external maintenance works, collaborating with other departments.
* Health & Safety Standards: Ensure processes meet health, safety, and environmental standards, identifying and mitigating risks. Alongside overseeing contractors, ensuring legal and company requirements are met.
* Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with management to implement improvements and support continuous optimisation of operations.
* Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive success.
About you:
* Educational Qualifications: Educated to at least Level 5 in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering.
* Health & Safety Certification: NEBOSH General Certificate required. Preferable in addition if you hold Legionella, Asbestos, and Fire Management qualifications.
* Leadership Experience: Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with expertise in team management, work flow planning, and problem-solving.
* Organisation & Time Management: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to challenging deadlines, prioritising and delegating tasks effectively.
* Production Knowledge: A solid understanding of production systems and a commitment to continuous improvement of operational processes. Additionally, knowledge of AutoCAD Inventor or a similar 3D design package is desirable.
