As an IT Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our internal users, ensuring efficient endpoint management, and contributing to a collaborative, highly skilled IT and development environment.
The Xledger IT team is responsible for user support, endpoint management, infrastructure operations, upgrades, and security. Our technical environment incorporates the latest technologies, including Azure (Entra), Office 365, Azure Stack HCI, Azure Arc, and more from Microsoft’s portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide internal IT support to Xledger employees: Act as the first point of contact for internal technical issues, providing timely and effective support to resolve hardware, software, and network-related problems. You’ll troubleshoot and resolve issues both on-site and remotely, ensuring minimal disruption to employees’ workflows.
* Oversee and manage endpoint operations: Take ownership of endpoint device management, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals. You will ensure that devices are properly configured, updated, and secured.
* Assist in server operations: Support the setup, maintenance, and upgrades of servers ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security. Collaborate with the internal support team in Norway on infrastructure projects and ensure compliance with global IT standards.
* Support ongoing departmental projects: Contribute to IT projects aimed at improving internal operations, coordinating with key employees to ensure project timelines and objectives are met effectively.
* Collaborate on and contribute to security initiatives: Actively participate in security initiatives, including vulnerability assessments, policy updates, and compliance measures. You’ll help identify risks and implement best practices to protect Xledger’s systems, data, and users from emerging threats.

Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
* Experience in IT support and endpoint management, with a proven track record of delivering effective solutions.
* Advanced knowledge of: Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2022/2025, Active Directory and Intune, Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and Microsoft Office 365.
* A degree in IT or equivalent qualifications/experience.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
* A flexible approach to tasks and areas of responsibility, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
