Delivering reliable solutions for complex subsea challenges, everyone in CSS plays an essential part in maintaining critical offshore connections for oil and gas operations worldwide. As a Project Support Assistant in CSS you will have a central role in the company. Working within the operations team, you will help to co-ordinate the manufacture and testing of equipment whilst ensur ing that customer requirements are met. You will interact and work with all departments at CSS, at all levels of the business, and work with our supply chain. As CSS is a truly wor ldwide operator, you will be interacting with colleagues, customers and suppliers from a variety of cultures and locations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone that is looking for a varied and dynamic role. Duties and responsibilities Assist with project documentation. This would include such activities as creating simple documents, compiling larger documents, printing, scanning and electronic filing. Compiling of project invoices, including backup evidence of charges. Arranging project travel. This could include flight and hotel bookings but also extend to compiling and submitting travel documentation to customer requirements or for country entry requirements. Assist with, or create, equipment shipping documentation. This would include shipping invoices and packing lists/labels but could also extend to endorsed import/export documentation. Assist with obtaining supplier quotations and placement of purchase orders. Follow up of existing purchase orders. This would include such activities as updating delivery expectations and che cking and compiling certification tha t accompanies deliveries. Participate in meetings relating to ongoing project s or CSS business. O ther activit ies to fulfil project scope of work, as required by the projects. Pr o mote QHSE within the business and our activities. Involvement with some workshop activities relating to the assembly, testing and pack aging of equipment. There may be some inf r equent travel ; this could be within the UK, Europe or Worldwide. Job requirements Relevant education. Strong English language, both verbal and written, and maths. Strong computing skills in general office applications – Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Adobe PDF. Recent r elevant experience in a fast paced office environment. Ability to comprehend t echnical specifications and /or engineering drawings is a benefit. Preference is given to experience working within manufacturing/engineering or within the oil and gas industry. Personal attributes Enjoys working as part of a team.
