Job Description
The salary for this role is £54,376 (inclusive of a Specialist Allowance). Onsite working is expected for 3 days each week, however, we actively support requests for flexible working.
This role is based at the following site; Culham, Oxfordshire .
This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions and possibly a search of open source data.

As Senior Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading the scoping, design, build and commissioning of tritium compatible fuel cycle plant and associated equipment to deliver safe and operational facilities for tritium research.
Key Accountabilities:

* Experience with MatLab, SIMULINK, AVEVA Process Modeller.
* Ability to write models from first principles (good grasp of ODEs, PDEs, discretisation etc.)
* Demonstrably good understanding of thermodynamic property environments.
* Experience with handling and analysing experimental or operational data.
Qualifications
Essential:
* Degree or equivalent level in relevant STEM subject with demonstratable engineering experience (process, chemical, or mechanical engineering degree).
* Experience of, and excellent, technical report writing skills.
* Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload.
Desirable:
* Chartered engineer or scientist or be able to demonstrate working at that level.
