The process involved in our marketing activity, is turning one small idea, into a visually delightful collection of super slick brand assets. Like art, it takes time and a series of crucial stages before we end up with something that pops off the page!
Our ideal Creative Marketing Coordinator has creative flair, exceptional writing skills and experience in project managing the production of multi-channel marketing campaigns.
We want to meet someone who can hit the ground running, enjoys a challenge and loves the fast pace of a dynamic marketing team.
THE PERSON
You’ll have a natural way with words, an eye for great design, impressive organisational skills and top notch attention to detail.
Whether you’re conjuring up creative concepts, creating snappy copy to make our assets pop off the page, or co-ordinating 33 clubs worth of collateral to arrive on time, you’ll be the key cog that helps turn that initial idea into a revenue-generating campaign.
THE ROLE
Working on a variety of brand-wide campaigns for in-club assets, outdoor advertising, digital promotions, comms and social media, you'll have a savvy for snappy straplines and an eye for detail.
You’ll create slick briefs for our Design agency to follow, ensuring we create a collection of online and offline assets, looking on-point and delivered on time.
You’ll work with our Print agency to arrange print of all materials, and ensure they arrive ready for launch. Plus, distribute digital assets to relevant stakeholders within our marketing team, for publishing on digital channels.
From campaigns that drive new joiners to our clubs, to group-wide fitness events and quirky creatives to make our social media channels pop, you'll have a solid understanding of the importance of brand guidelines, but enough creative flair to put your own stamp on it.
ABOUT US
The Marketing for our 33 clubs is run by one central team. A bunch of creative content curators, latte lovers, witty wordsmiths and uber organised folk. Our brand is slick, but our tone is cheeky. When it comes to our creative campaigns, we go for impact, big engagement and are all about generating the leads.
We're a fast paced team. Our Manager lives and dies by her 'Everything takes an hour' philosophy, though it makes for slick project management and ensures we get our campaigns out the door, on time.
We have a solid plan of brand level campaigns, plus we conjure up quick spin off initiatives when we need to be reactive to industry trends and business needs.
Most importantly, we operate as a team. Our Creative Marketing Coordinator will be the first in the relay for campaign launches, so we're looking for a team player that will help the rest of us get our actions nailed.
ESSENTIAL
* At least one year's experience within a marketing support role
* Proven experience using Adobe creative software suite (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). We will ask to see it!
* Experience in creating assets fit for social media use (including still assets and reels)
* Organisational skills (and a know-how with spreadsheets to keep track of everything!)
* Creative copywriting skills
* Solid time management (we move quickly!)
* A good understanding of typography and layout
* Attention to detail with a strong sense of colour, style and use of visuals
NICE TO HAVE
* Experience in managing print marketing including handling Purchase Orders and Proof of Delivery processes.
