We are seeking a Branch Support Coordinator to deliver effective administrative support to our Birmingham Gas team. Playing a vital role within the department, this is a diverse position, ideal for an experienced administrator. Reporting to the Gas Production Manager, you will contribute to a well-established and friendly administration team.
The Customer
You will be part of one of Fortem’s largest Social Housing contracts, Birmingham City Council. This is an expanding £50m Repairs & Maintenance, Capital Works and Retrofit contract and the largest social housing contract in Europe. We are responsible for over 22,500 properties in the Birmingham area including low, medium, and a significant number of high-rise blocks. This is a fast-paced, focused, and dedicated contract which we have been re-awarded 3 times, and we are very proud to be able to support this exceptional client.
Duties and Responsibilities
Branch Support Coordinator responsibilities:
1. Handle general administrative tasks.
2. Organise and maintain permits.
3. Attend meetings as a minute taker, ensuring accurate and timely notes.
4. Raise purchase orders for subcontractors.
5. Manage job completions using Castleton software.
6. Assist with compliance tasks.
What You Will Need
Essential:
1. Previous experience in an administration role
2. Excellent IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills
4. Experience in managing a challenging workload whilst maintaining high standards.
Desirable:
1. Experience working in the Social Housing sector
2. Experience of using systems such as Castleton
