Electrician St Ives - Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm (with weekend overtime available but not mandatory) Must hold a valid UK driving license £40-43,000 Permanent Our fantastic client, a business with a long-tenure and well-established in the local area, is looking for an experience Electrician to join their small but talented team. The company has a great reputation for supporting many different types of industrial and commercial businesses as well as domestic/residential properties, and so a strong level of customer service is required along with electrical skills. Responsibilities will include: Perform preventative & planned maintenance Working on high-speed production, packaging, and automated machinery as well as domestic installations Servicing, testing & repairs of all site services / facilities equipment Anticipate/identify both electrical & mechanical problems for improvement/repair Using a company van to drive to domestic and commercial tasks in the local area Adhering to and demonstrating excellent health and safety standards PLC - electrical fault finding Ensure all company, legislative and site policies are always adhered To be suitable, you will have the following experience and qualifications: Experience in commercial/ industrial machine breakdowns Competency interpreting wiring diagrams Ability to fault find machine control circuits & panels Recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent experience/qualifications Ideally City & Guilds 18th edition certified Working knowledge of H&S Pro-active work ethic to work effectively under own initiative Strong level of customer service Company benefits: Annual salary £40,000 - £43,000 A company van will be provided that can be used for commuting to and from work Company work wear and necessary PPE provided Annual leave - 21 days, accruing an additional day/ year up to 24 days, plus bank holidays Option to join the company pension scheme Our working day is 08.30-17.00 Monday to Friday, (40 hr week).
