ROLE OVERVIEW As a Student Advisor you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic journey and overall experience of our students. Your responsibilities encompass providing personalised academic guidance, assisting students in setting and achieving their educational goals. Beyond academics, you will offer support services, including counselling, and career development, to enhance students' holistic college experience. Implementing retention strategies, you will identify and address potential barriers to academic progress, fostering a supportive environment. Your role extends to problem resolution, serving as a point of contact for students facing challenges and offering tailored solutions. Additionally, you will assist prospective students in the admissions process, providing information on programs, and admission requirements. Collaborating closely with Teaching staff and other student support services, you will contribute to creating a collaborative and student-centric environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Academic Guidance: Provide personalised academic advising to students, assisting them in setting and achieving their educational goals; as well as sourcing suitable placements in line with their area of study Support Services: Offer guidance on support services, including counselling, and career development, to enhance students' overall training experience Retention Strategies: Implement strategies to enhance student retention and success, identifying and addressing potential barriers to academic progress Problem Resolution: Act as a point of contact for students facing challenges, offering solutions and resources to overcome obstacles Admissions Assistance: Assist prospective students in the admissions process, providing information on programs and admission requirements Collaboration: Work closely with Teaching staff, and other student support services to create a collaborative and student-centric environment Workshop Facilitation: Facilitate our internal CHILS programme to develop interpersonal and basic life skills to our cohort of students Administration: Provide administrative support in the operation of the Branch ABOUT US: Rutledge Training is one of the leading private training providers in NI; with a branch network of 17 locations.
