Please note this is a temporary 3-month position. The Repairs & Maintenance department are now looking for an enthusiastic individual to work alongside their existing team as additional support on a temporary basis for up to three months. The ideal candidate will be interested/skilled in all aspects of maintenance from practical tasks, e.g. furniture assembly to a wide variety of challenging hands-on roles that require expert knowledge. A full understanding of the importance regarding Health & Safety is also required. No two days will be the same. This role is fast-paced, reactive, and hectic! Every job, whether large or small, we are involved in them all. You will be travelling to each factory and office location when the Business requires it.
Your day-to-day jobs will depend on the needs of the business and could consist of the following:
* Plumbing
* Gardening
* Furniture building
* Carpentry
* Painting
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Good interpersonal and team skills
* Help and support related projects
* A flexible approach to work
* The ability to time manage and work under pressure
* Must be organised and keen to manage own administrative tasks
* Ability to be reactive and cope with rapid change
* Excellent communication skills between team and rest of the business
* Managing stocks of supplies and equipment
* Obtaining specialist components, fixtures and fittings
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
* Diagnose breakdown problems
* Deal with emergencies, unplanned issues and repairs
