We are looking for an experienced Approved Electrician used to working in domestic settings and preferably within Social Housing to join our EICR Team based in Worcestershire, carrying out electrical testing, remedial work and consumer unit upgrades, general maintenance, and electrical installation condition reports, (EICRs) across our properties.
What could you be doing?
You will deliver day-to-day electrical repairs, fault finding, maintenance and servicing, installation and undertake compliance work including inspections and testing according to current guidelines.
You will play an important part of a busy team delivering properties to the required standard for our customers. Your work will be varied, no day will be the same!
We want somebody who can:
A team player, you’ll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You’ll be working in people’s homes, so you’ll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication and customer service skills. You’ll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering work right first time.
We are looking for someone who has:
Served an apprenticeship in Electrical or obtained an equivalent NVQ L3 & City & Guilds L3 in Electrical installation, commissioning, and certification including AM2
City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent in testing and inspection
18th Edition regulation
Sound experience in completing a range of electrical repairs and maintenance in a domestic setting
Experience of working in property maintenance for a social Landlord, Housing Association or Council.
Full current valid Driving Licence essential as this is a mobile role.
As you will be working within Customer’s homes this role requires a DBS check.
This role is for a team based in Worcestershire so you will need to live in this county.

*The advertised salary is based on a base salary for electricians of £38,520 per annum with average OTE earnings of up to £1,900 per annum achieved from the out of hours on-call allowance and voluntary overtime. This role does require work on the out of hours rota.
This role is mobile, so it is essential you have a current valid driving licence. Unfortunately, we cannot progress applications from applicants who do not hold this.
