Do you believe every student deserves a learning experience as unique as they are? Are you ready to bring creativity, sensory exploration, and thematic teaching to the forefront of education for students with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD)?
We’re searching for a Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS) with a passion for transforming education for young people with complex needs.
You will be teaching students with a range of complex needs, including Autism, Global Development Delays, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and PMLD.
As part of our dedicated team, you’ll design and deliver thematic, sensory-driven lessons that inspire curiosity, foster engagement, and celebrate every success. This is not traditional teaching—it’s creative, hands-on, and deeply rewarding.
Key responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver immersive, sensory-rich lessons tailored to each student’s individual learning profile.
* Use thematic teaching approaches to make learning experiences engaging and memorable.
* Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to create holistic support plans.
* Build trusting, supportive relationships with students to boost confidence and engagement.
* Monitor progress, celebrate milestones, and adapt plans to ensure every learner reaches their potential.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and compassionate teacher who shares our commitment to unlocking potential in every student.
Key requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or a relevant teaching qualification.
* A creative and innovative approach to sensory and activity-based learning.
* Empathy, resilience, and a good sense of humor.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families.
* A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being.
* Experience working with PMLD or complex learning needs is a plus, but a willingness to grow and learn with us is essential.
