Are you a driven, client-focused professional with a knack for building relationships and generating new business? Chapter Law, a cutting-edge property law firm, is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our New Business team. Specialising in residential conveyancing across the West Midlands, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and high standards to each of our clients.
The Opportunity: In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of Chapter Law’s growth, creating seamless and engaging onboarding experiences for our new clients. You’ll speak with prospective clients, uncover their needs, and guide them through the initial steps of their legal journey with us. This is a role for someone who isn’t afraid to pick up the phone, follow up on leads, and build lasting client relationships.
What You’ll Do:
1. Connect with New and Returning Clients – You’ll be the first point of contact, introducing clients to Chapter Law, addressing inquiries, and turning interest into committed instructions.
2. Conduct Initial Legal Checks – Ensure all new files are compliant by gathering necessary client documentation such as ID, AML, and proof of funds.
3. Drive Business Development – Follow up on leads, nurture client relationships, and help drive Chapter Law’s reputation as the go-to firm for residential conveyancing.
4. Manage Client Communications – Oversee the firm’s switchboard, handle messages, transfer calls, and ensure prompt responses to client inquiries.
5. Efficient File Management – Open, close, and archive files to support smooth operations.
6. Support Administrative Excellence – Handle administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and printing.
What We’re Looking For:
1. A Relationship Builder – You’re someone with at least 18 months of experience in a client-facing, administrative role, confident on the phone and skilled in making people feel valued.
2. Sales-Inclined – Whether it’s following up on leads or generating quotes, you know how to engage clients and help them see the value in our services.
3. Tech-Savvy and Organised – You’re comfortable with Microsoft packages (especially Outlook) and thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
4. Proactive and Positive – You have a can-do attitude and are ready to tackle new challenges every day.
