Job Overview
An opportunity is available for an experienced, ideally time-served Tool Maker to join a dynamic team, focusing on the modification, repair, and maintenance of Injection and Compression moulding tools. The role requires expertise in CNC and manual machining equipment within a Toolroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Modify, repair, and maintain Injection and Compression moulding tools.
* Operate and manage CNC and manual machining equipment efficiently.
* Collaborate with the Toolroom Manager to ensure accuracy and efficiency in task completion.
* Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to manufacture high-precision tooling components.
* Identify and resolve tooling-related issues during production.
* Adhere to company safety and quality control standards.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Tool Maker, preferably in Injection and Compression moulding.
* Proficiency in CNC and manual machining equipment.
* Strong understanding of machining techniques and materials used in mould-making.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* High attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity.
* Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Desirable Skills
* Experience in a Toolroom or precision engineering environment.
* Knowledge of industry-standard health and safety regulations.
