The App Store is looking for a world-class Designer to join the International Design Team on a 12 month fixed-term contract. This is a role for a Designer, strategic thinker, excellent communicator and problem-solver who wants to have their hands in several projects at once, and who can collaborate well with others. This is a creative position dedicated to shaping design projects whilst maintaining a deep understanding of editorial content. You will be given the opportunity to work alongside talented Designers and Art Directors and contribute towards The App Store's growth and continued success. Description As Designer you will be solely responsible for the creative direction of individual projects and on-store campaigns. You will art direct and liaise with external creative vendors, whilst collaborating with other internal designers and stakeholders across the business. A key responsibility will be helping adapt artwork for RTL (Right To Left) languages, as well as presenting project concepts, updates and directions to leadership. N.B. This is a 12 month fixed-term contract opportunity. Minimum Qualifications Proven experience commissioning and art directing external vendors (Illustrators/animators/design studios) for editorial or commercial clients Experience in creative design toolkits to be used by internal/external creatives A conceptual thinker who is strategically-centered Demonstrated mastery of Adobe Creative Suite A keen ability to create work under minimal supervision Clear and concise communication and organisation skills A willingness to investigate multiple approaches, gracefully accept feedback and change direction when required Key Qualifications Preferred Qualifications A strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in detail-oriented work Demonstrable experience within editorial design, graphic design an agency or brand Fluency in Arabic language is beneficial Fluency across graphic design, typography, photography and illustration Passionate about the Apple brand and relentless in preserving it's authenticity A passion for apps and app culture A good understanding of the Middle East & Arabic culture Some experience using Sketch is ideal An interest in games and game culture Education & Experience Additional Requirements
