We are advertising for 2 Business Support Manager's posts, 1 full time fixed term until 31st March 2025 and the other 1 full time permanent post.

This is a key post within Planning and Partnerships providing business support across the Department. The Planning Business Support Manager will provide a lead role in the UHB, using their expertise and knowledge, to ensure that robust business planning processes are in place to deliver the following:
* Public/Citizen Engagement
* Liaise, and maintain a strong relationship, with Cwm Taf Morgannwg Community Health Council
* Commissioning and performance management of third sector and integrated services
* Provide business planning process support to the Assistant Director of Transformation, in the development of the UHB IMTP and the commissioning and review of Directorate IMTPs.
Main duties of the job
This will involve project management, planning, facilitation, consultation, monitoring and evaluation of strategies, plans and services. In doing so, the post holder will work closely with members of the Executive Team, Clinical and Non-Clinical Directorates, Primary Care Contractors and external Stakeholders to secure improvements in services which meet the health and wellbeing needs of patients across the Cwm Taf Morgannwg area.
The post holder will assist the Head of Strategic Partnerships & IMTP to ensure that strategic and operational planning processes, particularly linked to IMTP development and delivery, are appropriate and support the achievement of the UHB's Strategic Objectives.
They will lead on analysing the impact of internal and external standards, policy changes and targets on service planning, commissioning and delivery, and lead discussions on actions required to meet targets.
The ability to work in partnership across the public sector with a range of statutory and voluntary organisations, as well as engaging proactively with the wider public will be essential aspects of this role, as is the requirement to influence and manage change.
The post holder will take the planning lead for delegated projects within the portfolio, planning a range of innovative service redesign initiatives.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
