Shaw healthcare is looking for a Residential Team Leader to join the team at Burleys Wood in Crawley. You will join a team fully committed to making a difference to the lives of those we provide care for. Our aim is to deliver the highest standard of care to our service users, providing the same standard of care we would expect our own family members to receive. You will use the latest care technology that enables you to spend more time with the service users you care for. Burleys Wood has an excellent reputation as a highly valued provider of care; the needs of our service users are at the centre of all we do every single day. As a Team Leader, you’ll have previous experience working with older people in residential care. You need to be flexible, patient, caring, organised, and great with people. Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, are required, and you should have completed or be working towards your QCF 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent). Your responsibility includes building strong relationships with all around you, ensuring family and friends feel welcomed, that healthcare professionals are kept well-informed, and that you’re keeping your Line Manager up to speed with residents’ needs and progress. As a team player, you can easily follow guidelines and policies, and will have good written skills, as you will need to write up care plans. We provide full training, including our leadership programme, supporting your development and opportunities for progression within Shaw.
