The Advanced Skills Worker role is a rewarding position responsible for effective practice in a residential home environment. You will provide support and guidance to adults and their families to ensure robust support through excellent adult social care practice. It is essential to create a caring, safe, and secure environment daily, alongside specialist expertise to enhance opportunities for improving outcomes for individuals.
This role is a senior position within the Bridgemarsh Residential service for adults with learning and physical disabilities, requiring on-site work within a shift pattern.
As an experienced and professional practitioner, you will utilize your expertise in care planning and work directly with adults and colleagues to meet individual outcomes. You will also provide day-to-day practice guidance to other residential home staff and formally supervise other residential workers and assistants as determined by the home manager.

About You
Candidates must have extensive experience within the care setting and have served as a Team Leader or Senior Staff member. We seek individuals committed to enabling people with a learning disability and/or autism to live meaningful lives. You should be an experienced practitioner who can establish a positive working relationship with adults, focusing on their strengths, hopes, and dreams.
This role involves a shift pattern, including weekends, public holidays, and sleep-in duties.
