Working as a Health & Safety Officer you will play a critical role in promoting and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. You will effectively communicate and collaborate with various parts of the business in implementing and monitoring environment and safety policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and providing training and guidance to employees to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities
12. Improve, implement, and maintain environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
13. Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments of the workplace
14. work with other department and shift managers and supervisors to establish and maintain effective safety programs and initiatives
15. Provide support and training to employees on health and safety matters
16. Deliver comprehensive training programs
17. Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, near-misses, and occupational injuries
18. Drive and chair the Health and Safety forum across all shifts, keeping accurate records and building a positive health and safety culture within the business
19. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and safety-related data
Person specification
20. Experience within a Engineering background or similar (preferred)
21. At least 2 years Health & Safety Officer experience
22. Maintain ISO Standards
23. Ability to train and communicate with other teams
