Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and inspire your medical team, fostering a culture of trust, compassion, and continuous improvement.
* Ensure clinical governance and professional standards are upheld, in line with PHLs governance framework and medical regulations.
* Support the teams development through mentoring, audit feedback, and ensuring compliance with mandatory training.
* Lead on recruitment, induction, and development of medical staff, ensuring they are fully qualified and equipped to deliver their roles.

As a Clinical Lead for PHL Healthcare Primary Care Services(Winchester, Waterlooville, Havant extended access/OOH), your role ispivotal in providing dedicated professional medical leadership of themedical team and driving clinical excellence in the services provided.
You will be accountable for the delivery of safe, and high-qualityservices. You will lead with integrity and truly care while alwaysdisplaying compassion and advocacy for the patient. As a patientadvocate you will commit to our culture that we continuously learn,listening to patients and strive to always be better. Your role therefore iscrucial to improving the quality and value of care and shaping the PHLHealthcare organisational culture and strategic vision and communicatingthese to staff on the front line.
You have a shared responsibility for strategy, governance, quality, andoperational decisions within the leadership team (Contract Manager &Clinical Manager) for the services and working closely with ClinicalDirector.
As an experienced medical leader, you consistently exemplify genuinerespect in your leadership approach. You are authentic, and live ourTeam First values, collaborate effectively with your team and committedto ensuring compliance with PHL Group governance framework and theIHPN Medical Practitioners Assurance Framework and other relevantmedical regulatory requirements.
You will champion PHL and proactively share best practice and developrelationships with internal and external stakeholders in the widerhealthcare community that supports the growth and delivery of thestrategy. As a credible clinician you will be able to influence and utilisenegotiation skills in the best interest of patients and the successfulgrowth of PHL
The post holder will be an experienced GP, ideally with leadershipexperience and a demonstrator of PHL values.

Qualifications
* o MBBS or equivalent medical degree
* o Full registration with GMC
* o Certification of Completion of Training
* o Inclusion on Performers List
* o MRCGP
* o Evidence of a commitment to on-going
* o Must be able to demonstrate and meet
* competencies of all mandatory training as
* required within the policies of the
* organisation. (such as BLS, level 3 adult
* and children safeguarding and Information
* o Possess a valid UK work permit (if
* appropriate)
* o Up to date with clinical practice
* o Must be able to clear an enhanced DBS
* check.
Experience
* Experience in Primary Care
* Experience in an urgent care setting such as an Urgent Treatment Centre or Out of Hours.
* Clinical Leadership experience
* Experience of working in a multi disciplinary team including
* mentoring of junior staff.
* Experience of audit and improving
* patient care
