What you will be doing:
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help evolve our world-class eSignature platform.
As a Full Stack Engineer at Signable, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust web applications and services using PHP, Laravel, React, Vue, Tailwind, Docker, and AWS. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers and wider stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and exceptional performance across our services. Your role will involve translating business requirements into technical specifications, implementing efficient and scalable solutions, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and security.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain efficient and reliable PHP code using Laravel.
* Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.
* Implement and maintain data storage solutions and databases to ensure data security and integrity.
* Design and implement front-end solutions using React, Vue and Tailwind for a seamless user experience.
* Collaborate with the design and product teams to create user-friendly interfaces and experiences.
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices, integrating them into our development processes.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in PHP development with a strong command of the Laravel framework.
* Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL), using object relational mapping (ORMs) and proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries.
* Familiarity with writing RESTful APIs and experience integrating third-party APIs.
* Write documented, maintainable and clean code, covered by automated tests using PHPUnit, Pest or similar.
* Solid understanding of software development best practices, including version control (Git), testing, and deployment strategies.
* Experience with front-end technologies such as Vue, React or similar for creating interactive and responsive user interfaces.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Understanding of Docker and its use in a development environment.
* Some experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, RDS, SQS would be advantageous, but not essential as we have dedicated DevOps engineers in the team.
* There are occasions where out of hours support is required outside your contracted hours. This is ad hoc, doesn’t happen often and is compensated on top of your salary.
