Business Analyst - 6 months contract
My customer is looking for a Business Analyst with exposure in demerger and divestment projects to play a pivotal role in supporting our business transformation. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the unique challenges these projects present, including data separation, infrastructure migration, and business process realignment. You will work closely with stakeholders across various functions to ensure the seamless transition of business units and successful project delivery.
Primary day to day responsibilities for the Business Analyst will include:
1. Act as the primary Business Analyst for demerger and divestment projects, focusing on data separation, infrastructure migration, and organisational restructuring.
2. Analyse and document business requirements, current state processes, and future state goals related to data and infrastructure migration.
3. Develop and manage detailed business, functional, and non-functional requirements to support seamless data migration, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance.
4. Lead the design and execution of historical data separation strategies, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
5. Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth infrastructure migration, while minimising risk and downtime.
6. Support stakeholders in managing organisational restructuring efforts, identifying the impact of changes on systems, processes, and employees.
7. Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
8. Provide insights, reports, and updates to senior management and project teams on project performance, challenges, and outcomes.
The Business Analyst would be required to be onsite on an ad hoc basis in Birmingham.
