The Role:
This is a fixed term contract for one year to cover Maternity.
You will support the Senior Finance Manager in developing the current financial reporting for the portfolio of channels, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting within the management accounting department. You will ensure a strong internal control environment by identifying weaknesses in current controls and recommending and assisting in the implementation of new and improved controls.
You will be responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of monthly management accounts.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Ensure timely and accurate monthly and quarterly reporting to AMC Corporate on the Group P&L and Balance Sheet (selected Revenue / Direct Cost / Overhead line items), including commentary on key variances and KPIs, and interaction with operational Department heads as required. Management reporting to JV Partners.
2. Review/reconciliation of selected Balance sheet accounts.
3. Support the production of well-vetted budgeting, forecasting, and business planning for the portfolio of channels.
4. Support the UK Group and statutory audit and reporting, assist with preparation of data for the auditors and liaison thereafter.
5. Find opportunities to partner with the business and meet with client areas monthly to review reports, providing analysis where necessary.
6. Support development of current internal processes and controls to improve efficiencies and ensure compliance with corporate governance.
7. Perform ad hoc analysis for the Senior Finance Manager/Financial Controller/VP, Finance as requested.
Key Competencies Required:
1. Part Qualified accountant ACA / AMCA / ACCA.
2. Proactive with a hands-on approach to ensure deadlines are met.
3. Strong Excel data analysis skills.
4. Knowledge of Oracle, Essbase, and FCCC preferable.
5. FP&A experience helpful.
6. MA experience.
