37.00 hours per week, Term Time only plus 2 days (2 days to be worked during August on GCSE and A Level Results days)
NJC SCP 17-20 - £30,060-£31,586 per annum
Pro rata (actual salary £26,236.13 - £27,568.01)
An opportunity has arisen to appoint a Sixth Form Learning Mentor
The successful appointee should:
* Be educated to Degree standard.
* Demonstrate an ability to support student progress at KS5.
* Possess well developed written and oral skills.
* Demonstrate experience of working within an education environment.
* Demonstrate experience of working effectively with young people in education or related area.
* Demonstrate the ability to motivate young people
* Contribute where appropriate, to the KS5 Enrichment programme.
* Be a team player, but able to use own initiative and act independently when required.
