Job information Post No. POSN004055 - Service Area Support Officer An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Service Area Support Officer within the Regeneration and Economic Development Service Area. The service seeks to shape the future development of the City and plays a key role in delivering the Council’s regeneration and growth aspirations as well as protecting our best historic and environmental assets. The role of Support Officer is integral to the service and your day will be varied, spent carrying out several administration tasks for example co-ordinating and minuting meetings, co-ordinating Freedom of Information Requests, completion of Local Search Enquiries and administration of Purchase Orders. You will be responsible for co-ordinating the support services provided to the service area including organising the daily work of the Administrative Support Team. You should be self-motivated and pro-active with an organised and analytical approach to your work – and should be used to maintaining attention to detail while working to tight deadlines. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have experience of using all Microsoft Office packages, a high level of accuracy and it would be expected that the successful candidate would handle all information received with tact and discretion, and in accordance with Data Protection requirements.
