Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive Primary School environment? We are currently seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly Primary School rated "Good" by OFSTED located on the outskirts of Worcester.
The role will involve providing One to One support to a child in the Reception class with special educational needs. This is a part-time role, with the school offering either 4 days per week or 5 mornings per week starting as soon as possible.
Job Role:
Provide One to One support to a child in the Reception class with SEN.
Assist in the delivery of the National Curriculum in the Reception year.
Help with classroom management, fostering a positive learning environment.
Support the child in developing social and emotional skills.
Work closely with the class teacher to implement a tailored learning plan for the child.
Required Skills and Experience:
Previous UK school experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
Experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN).
Ability to support One to One and individualised learning.
Knowledge of the National Curriculum and experience in the Reception year.
Passion for working with children and improving their educational outcomes.
