Here at Lucion, we are currently recruiting for an Analytical Chemistry Specialist to join our Laboratory team. This is role will be based at our Lab in Gateshead and is a full-time, permanent role. More About the Role: GC-MS Method development and validation Troubleshooting, routine and preventative equipment maintenance Data entry onto a bespoke laboratory reporting and analysis system analysis of routine samples when not working on method development Communication and co-operation with clients; management; and fellow team members Providing specialist advice and interpretation to Managers and colleagues More About You: Relevant chemistry degree qualification with experience of working in an analytical chemistry laboratory in a technical role Analytical expertise in GC-MS method development, validation and Implementation Training, coaching and mentoring of junior staff members Experience in using ICP-MS Experience of working with Chromeleon, Qtegra and Thermofisher software and equipment would be beneficial What we offer: Competitive basic salary depending on skills and experience - reviewed annually 25 Days Annual Leave including 3 days Christmas shutdown plus bank holidays Life assurance Reward platform – ‘Being Lucion’, which includes a wellbeing centre, cycle to work scheme, and discounts/cashback from over 800 retailers.
