About the Role Gap Group's Commercial Team has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Bid & Proposal Content Writer to work within our Glasgow Head office. The post holder will co-ordinate and produce the proposal document and will be responsible for the production and delivery of compliant, professionally produced tenders within customer defined timeframes. This role requires the highest levels of attention to detail and an ability to work under pressure to demanding deadlines. Key Responsibilities Production and delivery of compliant, professionally produced tenders within customer defined timeframes. Coordinate proposal input from a variety of GAP stakeholders, typically involving contributions from GAP Board of Directors, Major Accounts, Marketing, Procurement, Finance and Operations. Champion collaboration tools, document management and version control best practices. Ensure proposal documents follow GAP's branding guidelines, standard formatting and quality standards. Provide advice on flow, language and grammar to content owners. Consolidate sections and/or documents developed by other team members into the required tender format. Maintain, make available and backup master document sets. Provide support and advice to the team of Bid and Proposal Coordinators. Work closely with the Bid & Proposal Manager to monitor team performance and to identify opportunities to coach/mentor the team of Bid & Proposal Coordinators.The Ideal Candidate: Proven ability in planning, producing and delivering compliant proposal documents within a complex business environment. You should be experienced in attending proposal kick-off meetings, participating in brainstorming sessions, attending review meetings/final document review, managing document governance/signoff, document production (electronic and hard copy), and submission of the completed proposal.
