Social, Emotional & Mental Health Intervention Role for Recent Graduates
We are seeking a recent Psychology or Criminology graduate to join our team as a SEMH Assistant in a specialist school near Guildford.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for supporting the mental health of vulnerable young people and be eager to develop their skills in this rewarding field.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide emotional support and guidance to students with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff, other professionals, and families to develop and implement student support plans.
* Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to the evaluation of interventions.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Criminology (or related field).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds.
* Possession of relevant skills and experience preferred.
Salary:
£25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
